Is Permanent Makeup right for me?

Permanent Makeup, also known as micropigmentation has benefits that go beyond the ability to save time on your morning routine. The treatment is done for various reasons including, but, not limited to scar camouflage, disguising asymmetries within features, application of pigment to areas that have lost color with time or trauma, and the cosmetic application for enhancing the face for esthetic beauty.

Highbrow & Rouge currently offers Permanent makeup treatments for Lips, Eyebrows, and Eyeliner. Different techniques and methods are used to achieve a customized look to complement each individual's unique features.

A Consultation to discuss every guests desired outcome is done in advance.

An experienced artist will be sure that the treatment will be safe for the client to move forward with the treatment during the consultation. If contraindications are discussed then permission from the guests' doctor or GP will be needed to move forward.

Lips

The possibilities and applications for lips are offered in techniques from color correction to fully pigmented color, ombrè color, and lip blushing.

What differs from applying lipstick is that micropigmentation will correct asymmetries of the shape that doesn't wipe away. The treatment can disguise scars from burns or a repaired cleft for example.

As we age, a loss of pigment in the lips can occur. This makes it difficult to see definition in the lips and with the fading of color the appearance of volume is lost.

Lipstick can still be worn after the lips have healed from any of the lip-enhancing micropigmentation treatments.

Brows

Permanent makeup for brows has many names depending on the technique used. Shading, Machine Shading, Microshading, Powder brows, Ombre Powder Brows, Combo or Combination Brows. Many artists give these techniques a trademark name depending on a style that the artist created using a variety of techniques. The style that's right for you will depend on the look you want to achieve along with your skin type. For example, Microblading isn't for everyone, often Microblading doesn't retain well on oily skin types. In this case, an experienced Permanent Makeup Artist would recommend Powder Brows, Microshading, or Ombre Powder Brows as an alternative treatment. A consultation done in advance to discuss your options in Permanent Eyebrows at Highbrow & Rouge will help you choose your new perfected brows.

Eyeliner

Permanent Eyeliner is a beautiful way to enhance your lash line. The look adds the perception of volume to your lash line along with the convenience of not having to apply eyeliner every day. For most people, achieving symmetry in eyeliner is challenging and can be a time-consuming part of your daily routine. As we celebrate birthdays it can be difficult to have stability in our hands when attempting to apply eyeliner. Permanent Eyeliner can help in so many ways. There are a few different techniques offered at Highbrow & Rouge. Classic Eyeliner, Baby Eyeliner, and Luminous Liner. Classic Eyeliner is a winged traditional cat-eye style. Baby Liner is very thin and is best for those looking to add the look of volume to the lash line only. Luminous Liner is a combination of techniques, a soft winged style with pixelation in the corners to give a smokey look.
